Failed to resolve the Android SDK path

Hi,

I’m trying to run a React Native and Expo template, but it seems the environment was created with ANDROID_SDK_ROOT instead of ANDROID_HOME.

How to locate the SDK location so I can update the environment variable?

“Preformatted text`Failed to resolve the Android SDK path. Deprecated ANDROID_SDK_ROOT is set to a non-existing path: /home/user/.androidsdkroot. Use ANDROID_HOME instead.”

Thanks

Same here. I have the same issue with React Native.

@CJY, @viruslicon - we had an issue with the Android emulators that we rolled out a fix for a few moments ago. Can you please try again?

When I tried it out just now, I was able to get it work.

Thank you. It works now

Thank you for fixing this.

@kirupa Overall, the IDX offers a promising solution, but there are still areas that need improvement before it can be considered a reliable and user-friendly ID for large-scale industry development projects.

@CJY - If you have suggestions on what we can improve, feel free to share here

  • Include a plain React Native template.
  • Make the backend ports that need to be open more visible to developers.
