I get it, we want to give credit and (re)use code properly, but the suspected possible license attribution is still a bit far fetched.
- am i expected to not use gemini code suggestions in software that doesn’t comply with the code?
- am i expected to share the license log in open source projects?
- am i expected to keep my code riddled with comments?
- sometimes the code suggestions clearly are from code already in my project, why are we looking to attribute this to other sources…
At the very least, if keeping attribution is critically important, can we not have those comments in the code and surface the log some other way?
