I’ve been unable to access my workspace on IDX for the past 3 days due to an error message stating: ‘IDX is currently experiencing increased load. Please come back and try again later.’ Despite waiting and retrying multiple times, the issue persists. Has anyone else faced this problem, and are there any known solutions or workarounds? Your advice would be greatly appreciated!
Yes I’m also facing same issues as you. It’s been 4 days I am trying to open my project and I get same error message as you…
I haven’t committed the code yet, and now I can’t even access it! It’s really frustrating because of this.
I had the same issue. I didn’t commit earlier, but now I’ve created a new one and now I am committing every time before I close the project.
Sorry everyone. We had a capacity issue yesterday that should now be addressed. Please let me know if you are still having difficulties opening your earlier projects.
I had the same issue i tried open workspace which is archiving. Got an error
Error opening workspace: IDX is currently experiencing increased load. Please come back and try again later.
then i tried to create a new project from github repository. It remain the same error.
@Avei - can you please share your workspace with me via the Share icon? (kirupa[at].google.com)
Already shared the repository
Upadate: I tried opening workspace last night from Linux using Brave. Its open normally but. When i switch to windows and open using Brave the error persistence.
I tried opening your project right now, and it opened without any problems. I don’t think this issue is dependent on OS/browser combination.
This is really frustrating. I have uncommitted code which will be lost! Thanks
Please file a bug on: https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/new?component=1379083&template=1836320&pli=1 and mention your workspace URL in it. We’ll investigate to see if your issue will be resolved as part of the fixes we are rolling out.
I am also facing the same issue my workscape URL is https://idx.google.com/smartsocietyflutterapp-360623
I had this same issue. For anyone else seeing this more recently, per @Yashit_Sharma here, you may try clearing the cookies for idx.google.com which worked for me.
@ibgib - do you happen to have multiple profiles setup in your Chrome browser? I’m trying to figure out why clearing cookies seems to solve this problem.
I’m not sure in which context you mean multiple profiles.
For browser profiles, I am using Vimium, a Chromium-based browser, and no I do not have multiple profiles set up at the browser app level.
At the google accounts/SSO level, I do have another google-based profile, different than the one used to sign in to this forum and project idx, that is currently signed out (I don’t know when it was signed out).
At the project IDX level, I only have one profile that was created with the google SSO.
I did have about a week or two (my sense of time is terrible) of inactivity which could have been enough time for a cookie to expire? To fix the problem, I did not clear all google cookies, just the one for idx.google.com.
@ibgib I believe what kirupa meant by “multiple profiles” is this:
Notice the “Other profiles”? If you set multiple profiles on Chrome, then your Chrome should look like mine.
Thank you @Mioun. That would be what I meant by the browser level. As I stated, I am using Vimium with a single profile.
