Issue setting up workspace

I have been stuck at this stage for about 30 minutes, is this typical? On GitHub Codespaces I get past this in a few minutes.

Same. I’ve been trying for an hour to log in in different ways but the message is always the same. I finally managed to log in by changing the address from where I log in. Try assigning another internal ip on your network to that computer or if that doesn’t work, changing the ip with a VPN should solve the problem.

It seems that some access is blocked on ‘special’ networks such as shared or public networks.

Thanks for flagging this. Do you both always use a VPN?

I’m actually not using a VPN, I tried with a vpn to test and I am still not able to get past the “setting up workspace” stage.

I have same problem, how to fix this issue
