Default channel should be “stable-24.05” otherwise a lot of things does not work by default.
Try to add python312 packages with current default channel …

Good point, we’ve been trying to update the default channels. Which template did you use that had an older channel?

@Alex probably wanted to know how you populated your .nix/dev.nix, @Tomasz_Drobiszewski

Did you copy & paste from the web or use the “Create a default dev.nix file?” dialog that can appear bottom right?
