Can I disable Gemini?

The idea is great but we cannot have a license for all models and so we need to completely disable Gemini as it should not be indexing the codebases.

Hi @DRKolev - you can disable the codebase indexing in IDX Settings:

Thanks for the reply! Given the individual toggles through the settings.json is it possible to have a global one: IDX.aI.dissableGemini to remove the gemini icon from the status bar and the Code Actions icon from the top left corner?

@kirupac Hey. I was wondering if there has been any info I missed regarding this. Maybe a workspace template with no AI?

We currently don’t have anything planned for globally disabling Gemini.
