I Can't Use Gemini Code Features In My IDX Projects

Hi, newbie here,

Whenever I try to use Gemini Chat or other Gemini features, I get an error like the one in the picture above.

  • I have tried Ctrl+Shift+P → Rebuild Environment and also Hard Reset Previews
  • I have tried creating a different project but get the same errors.

I also get the same errors twice in a row every time I launch the workspace.

Were you ever able to get Gemini working? When I try inline chat, I get “An error occurred – please try again later.” And when I try any options with Gemini dealing with the selected code, it always is an empty selection.

Hi @ibgib - does your DevTools Console show any errors when you try to call our AI capabilities?
