Error EACCESS at using Gemini!

I am getting the following error when I try to use google gemini.

Error: EACCES: permission denied, scandir '/home/user/.local/share/docker/overlay2/0512032732db14949bab99a7577d87f33eeba52d8e673789a052543/work/work'

Everything used to work but it doesn’t anymore. What is going on?

Yeah, I too see this. I was trying to figure out how to install Python modules, so I tried asking questions about it but Gemini would always throw up this error.

Hi there, do you have this file open in an editor? Can you share any more details about the workspace?

unfortunately, i deleted the project as it was in early phase and made a new one. As of now I haven’t encountered the problem yet in the new workspace, but will post in this thread when I do.

Hi

I am also getting the same error.
@romannurik I have workspace active, and I can share it with you if wanted.

If you know any solution, let me know. This is reproducible and too common when using docker. Either it throws error with docker volume or overlay. As permission on those file didn’t give user to read access. I tried file permission, but didn’t able to change.

Also facing the same here. The problem seems to be that Gemini does not have the permission to access things outside the project scope, "

‘/home/user/.local/share/docker/volumes/apricot_postgres_data/_data’

Folks, apologies for the delay — I think we’ve identified the issue and are working on a fix.
