Issue: Terminal Not Opening in New Window for Gemini Chat

Description:

Hey chat, if I open Gemini Chat in a new window and try to open the Terminal, it isn’t working. Please help fix it!

I’m not sure if this is an issue on my end or an IDX Bug.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open Gemini Chat in a new window.
  2. Attempt to open the Terminal.
  3. Observe that the terminal does not respond.

Expected Behavior

The Terminal should open and function as expected when Gemini Chat is opened in a new window.

Actual Behavior

The Terminal fails to open, showing no response.

Additional Information

  • Browser/Environment: Firefox Latest
  • Console Output: Nothing

is this still a problem? I was getting this, but I believe this issue is resolved now after the last update to production.
